Project Management Skills
These workshops are focused on using project management best practices and techniques in order to more effectively manage the myriad of projects that we are faced with in organizations.
These complex projects require care to ensure adoption of the change brought about by changing business processes. This workshop uses a six-step process to teach participants how to effectively launch, implement, and ensure adoption of business process improvement initiatives. Participants in this workshop receive a copy of the book Managing BPI Projects: Six Steps to Success (J Ross Publishing.).
This two-hour session for leaders enables for understanding the value of, and role of the Project Sponsor. Leaders who successfully embrace this role contribute greatly to the success of projects launched in the organization.
In this workshop, participants learn how to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels in projects being undertaken. This engagement leads to increased adoption of the change brought about by the project as well as enabling for innovation in solving problems that arise during the project implementation.
Risks are common on any initiative and can be positive or negative. In this workshop, participants learn how to more accurately and efficiently identify potential risks to their projects, as well as how to take advantage of positive risks that can be of value to the project’s outcome. A variety of techniques will be used within the workshop to help in identifying, planning for, managing and communicating on risks.
This workshop provides leaders at all levels with a variety of best practices to increase the success of their projects – from communicating to share a vision, engaging others in problem solving, and achieving business results.
